Our 8-15-year sessions give junior racers a taste of real karting, with proper petrol karts, a dedicated circuit, and expert support every step of the way. It’s exciting, safe, and seriously good fun — the perfect next step for growing racers.
Junior karting bridges the gap between beginner and full-size karting — a real racing experience, built for younger drivers. Each session is an adventure in confidence, coordination, and pure adrenaline. Whether they’re racing for the first time or chasing their best lap, every session is a thrill.

Thrills, learning and junior racing excitement
Our Karting academy gives drivers aged 8-15 the perfect opportunity to experience karting in a friendly, children-only environment.
The Details
Adventure, excitement, and learning — all rolled into one.
Juniors must be at least 130cm tall and a minimum of 8 years old.
Typically run every Saturday & Sunday, 9.30am arrival.
Other dates may be available during school holidays.
These sessions will be split into groups, and we cannot guarantee that drivers will be in the same session as others in their booking.

Step 1
Book & Arrive
Book your session online, fill in your driver waivers and arrive 30 minutes before your slot to check-in.
Step 2
Brief & Gear Up
Gear up with overalls, gloves, balaclavas and helmets before our instructors guide drivers through a clear safety briefing.
Step 3
Race & Enjoy
Time to drive! Kids take to the circuit for 10 minutes of exciting, supervised petrol karting fun. After a 10-minute break they take back to the track and do it again.

The karts are highly adjustable and have lighter steering than adult karts, making them easier to turn and control for a safe and confidence-boosting karting experience.

One of the best outdoor karting circuits in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful and there are Marshall’s around the track to ensure participant safety. Equipment such as overalls and helmets are provided in the cost of the activity but balaclavas and gloves must be purchased separately for a small fee. Thus circuit is available in multiple configurations depending on the event you are taking part in. Lots of events need to be booked in advance but they do offer arrive and drive sessions. We took part in a Grand Prix event which needs a minimum of 8 people and ours was 4 practice laps, 4 qualifying laps and a 45 lap race with trophies awarded for 1st 2nd and 3rd place. They also provided lap reports for each individual detailing laps completed, fastest lap and each lap time as well as a race overview showing position changes throughout the race. By no means a cheap activity but plenty of smiles to the pound and great fun.

Fantastic circuit with really good quality karts, the facilities are all great and you are well looked after from arrival to the end of your session.
The track appears to have been fully resurfaced so it’s a smooth and fast surface with some challenging corners and hairpins which you can average around 30 mph on a good lap.

Ai 500 event, so far so good. Place is well maintained and has lots going on. The karting looks really good with the biggest kart track I’ve seen. Tune in tomorrow to see the result of another days relentless warfare….

FAQs
Does it run in all weather?
Junior Karting runs in most conditions, but may pause in severe weather for safety.
Who can take part?
Junior Karting is for children aged 8-15 years and from 1.3m tall.
Do kids need experience?
No experience needed. Our friendly team explain everything before drivers get on track. Nervous young drivers are advised to try our electric karts first.
How long does it take?
Each session includes two 10 minute sessions of driving, plus briefing and prep- allow around 90 minutes in total.
Is equipment provided?
Yes- helmets, and race suits are all included. All riders using our helmets must wear a balaclava. A balaclava and glove bundle can be purchased online for £4 or on-site for £5.
Can family watch?
Absolutely- there are great viewing areas near the track and a cafe for drinks and snacks.
